San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson will be the highlighted speaker at Ramona Skatepark Champions’ Fall Season Party being held at its pop-up skatepark on Saturday, Nov. 6.
The occasion is set for 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the skatepark, 424 Letton St.
Skateboard ramps will be established, music will be playing, and bratwurst and hotdogs will be served. Additionally, a brand-new skateboard, brand-new scooter and a brand-new BMX bike will be handed out in raffles at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Events are tentatively arranged at the following times:

- 3 p.m. – Birthday skate jam
- 3:30 p.m. – Pack up the park and conclusion.
Opportunities are offered to sponsor a youth at the pop-up skatepark: $10 per kid for one day; $189 for one kid for 6 days weekly in a 10-week session; $369 for a household of as much as 5 kids for 6 days a week in a 10-week session.
The existing structure fund for an irreversible skatepark in Ramona is $10,000, according to Ramona Skatepark Champions.
